Hi

A wonderful track "Ask The Lonely", always liked It and then we discovered on the B Side "Where Did You Go".

Brilliant Double Sider and cheap too. Imagine if there were only a handful of copies, what price would it fetch? - Quality :D

Marco

many thanks for the info, anyone got a mp3 of "Ask The Lonely", the wife would love it..

As Roger has mentioned earlier this is probably the greatest double sider of all time, heart wrenching soul music Levi and the boys at their very best. My UK red & white demo is probably the pride of my collection.

Regards

Alan

It was the absolute showstopper of the night the last time I saw Levi at Manchester Arena a few years back. I expect you were there Alan, as I believe you like a little Motwon now and then.

i have played it out only from a sound superb (i think. i`m not going hunting for it now) cheapy.

i know i heard it at bretby nighter.

loads of good feedback of any cd i`ve put it on.

The Admirals did a version, available on DO BE YOU: KING VOCAL GROUPS VOL. 4. All the rest I have seen are from Reggae artists The Paragons (John Holt leads), Ken Boothe, Johnny Clarke, Dillinger, Barrington Levy, George Nooks, Dwight Pickney, and Junior Tucker. This info I found on AllMusic.com. More info on the Admirals' version is on this link: https://home.earthlink.net/~v1tiger/genemac.html

'Teahouse In China Town' takes some beating as good as the Jimmy Heart version if not better IMO.

Opportunity Knock (For Me) - four tops - motown lp

I really like their (as far as I know) LP-only "Opportunity Knock (For Me)". Doesn't get mentioned often but a top tune to my ears.
