Hi Kev,

I have this also. Never seen a demo of this (or the Riley Hampton 45 on Carla You?). I was under the impression that this was recorded in Detroit. Not sure of point of manufacture though. Don't know anything about The Antoinettes. Anyone?

no not on demo either of em, like i say the paper and type set look like a lot of Chicago issues ive seen no other info on this group anyone??

....Weren't almost all of Ollie's early recordings cut in Chicago? Most of Barbara Lewis' certainly were. I didn't think he started cutting records in Detroit until about 1965-66.

Whatever, the ballad side of this is fantastic! I wouldn't pay two hundred quid for it or anything close, but it's a fabulous example of the Chicago-style girl group sound (Opals, Gems, early 'Fasinations' etc).
