Edwin S Wales Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 Brilliant forgotton tune, with an excellent Beat Ballad on the flip "False Pride" make sure ya get a styrene copy Mark, it's been booted recently on vinyl demo. steve That might answer my question then...But why was it booted....where was the demand?
Guest Johnny Mack Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 Ed We've had this discussion before - it definitely came out on the two different Veep label designs but I can only ever recall seeing it as a demo on both designs. Surprised if it has been booted - wouldnt have thought there was enough demand, unless its popular on the Belgium scene ??? The flip "False Pride" is a popular Island Soul sound. Take care John That might answer my question then...But why was it booted....where was the demand?
Steve Edgar Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 That might answer my question then...But why was it booted....where was the demand? Was told by an American dealer it was done for the Jamaican scene, (whatever that is??) for the flip side "False Pride" think the term is "Island" music. I bought a boot out of curiosity, to compare to the original. hth steve
