A very sad day for me.......his music was a major influence on me, not least due to his debut album being pivotal in my transition from 60's Northern into Modern Soul, but beyond that, all of his music since then until now. Finally got to see him live at the Hilton Blackpool weekender and wasn't disappointed. came through a bad childhood to leave a lasting legacy of great music of his own and his productions on other artists. will be playing something in the the modern room at Keighley on Saturday .
