Found some killer stuff right after I put up the last set sale a few days ago.(check that one out too if you haven't already). Ulysses Crockett Magic - Resurgence b/w Tamura's Theme, $125

Transverse Records 006, NM- (unplayed store stock, very slight sleeve mark)

Really unique jazz-funk on this tiny Berkeley, CA label with great vibes, congas, electric piano...the whole nine. Definitely a buzz around this record as of late but still somewhat under the radar so don't sleep!

The Village Crusaders - Akiwawa b/w Hashishi, $40

Trans-America 0008, VG- to VG (lots of marks but plays OK for DJ-ing, just some pops here and there, flip plays better)

No exaggeration to say this is one of my all time favorite funk 45s. Ridiculously hard drums, flute solos, perfect mix of funk and latin. Both sides are great. Only selling this because I found another copy.

Charles Mintz - Give A Man A Break b/w Finder's Keepers, $35

Abbott 2011, NM- (label has some bubbling)

Classic hard-charging funk with a good soul flipside. Originally came out on Uplook but picked up by Abbott shortly after. Don't think they made too many though as I've only come across this one copy.

Mel Hueston - Time & Patience b/w Double Confusion, $30

Chanson 1179, VG++

Good rugged funky soul on this obscure label. Kind of reminds me of stuff like Lee Moses and Vernon Garrett.

Gene Faith - Family Man b/w My Baby's Missing, $25

Virtue 2512, NM, bbh on label

I swear the drummer on this must have been listening to Hook & Sling studiously going into the session. Vastly underrated funky soul tune if you ask me. And the label design kicks major ass.

Grading: I grade conservatively and base my evaluation on the look AND sound of the record. I grade on a scale of NM, VG++, VG+, VG, VG- (I will rarely list a record less than VG unless its scarcity warrants it).

Shipping: First class shipping within the U.S. is $3, including delivery confirmation. Insurance is $1.30 (for up to $50 worth of coverage - add an extra dollar per $50 of coverage). International shipping is $6 for regular airmail to Europe, Asia and Australia. Other locations, please contact for a quote. As for multiple item purchases, shipping is free for the second 45 and $1 more per 45 (bulk purchases will ship at cost). I generally go to the post office 2-3 times a week to ship out packages, so you should get your record quickly! All records are packed using standard 45 mailers and cardboard fillers.
