Ladymidnight Posted September 14, 2016 Author Posted September 14, 2016 Thanks for the kind words, much appreciated. Kev: of course I played the full track, the only way to do it! 2
Ladymidnight Posted September 14, 2016 Author Posted September 14, 2016 Just wait til Pete Shirley posts his list from that day, just superb. Overall it's nice to see the slower side of things making waves here and there, not only for home listening. 1

Agreed Carl, its time it became the Main Event, as you well know we are striving for this on September 17th with Sweet, Deep and Soulful in Durham City, great boost to see your playlists Carl before we embark on ours, thanks for posting Kev
Ladymidnight Posted September 14, 2016 Author Posted September 14, 2016 Wish I could be there, busy putting things on here this weekend. Best of luck to you all, I'll come over to a later event of yours. 1
Stockholmsoulfox Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 (edited) Sorry for the even later playlist! I managed to escape to Brooklyn NYC for a holiday just after the event and I'm still playing catch up! Thanks to all who came and supported our first deep and sweet session, it was a departure from the norm for the DJ's and the Family Circle crowd and hopefully everybody who turned up enjoyed a different vibe in a relaxed setting. Thanks to our hosts at Judit & Bertil for the warm welcome and the friendly service. I arrived a little late so not as many tunes from me. I've got to say that Jens and Calle's DJ's sets were truly sublime, soulful and incomparable. Here's what I remember playing: James Bell & The Highlighters -Trying To Get Chosen (Three Diamonds) James Wayne & The Soul Soothers-My Last Letter (Key-Lan) Skip Jackson & The Shantons -Promise That You'll Wait (Dot-Mar) The Chaumonts-Loving Soft Soul (Bay Sound) Bettye Swann-My Heart Is Closed For The Season (Capitol) Irene Scott-You're No Good (Midas) Barbara Mason-Is it Me (Arctic) Ty Karim-Don't Let Me Be Lonely Tonight (Romark) Alex Brown-I'm Not Responsible (Sundi) Chicago Gangsters-I Choose You (Gold Plate) The Differences-That Was The Day (Mon'Ca) The Day-Tons-I've Got To Tell You About It (Day-Tons Productions) Toby King-Operator (Deesu) Gloria Fowler-Train Of Love (C.J.) Willie Tee -Dedicated To You (Atlantic WD) James Dee & The Primettes -Jealous Over Love (Enrica) Mike & The Censations- There's Nothing I Can Do About It (Highland) Jerry Butler-Walk Easy My Son (Mercury) Young Mods-I Can't Hurt You Back (Everblack) Brotherhood-When You Need Me (Tesseract) Heaven & Earth- I Can't Seem to Forget You (G.E.C) The Independents- Leaving Me (Wand) The Vikings-Never Seen A Stranger (Voyage) Brothers In Christ-God's Armour- (New Dawn LP) Barbara Lynn-I'm Still the Same (Jamstone) Psychodelic Frankie -Putting You Out Of My Life (Hi Speed) Unique-Here We Go Again (Col-La-Soul) Edited September 21, 2016 by stockholmsoulfox additional content 3
