Russ29 Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Hi all, I have a question re: the value of this record. Mr Manships guide lists it at £150 and he has one on his site for that amount. But of all the recent eBay sales I can find, the highest price it's sold for is £40, 5 years ago, and seems now to be down around £15. Anyone know why the huge disparity between JM and other sales ? And what would be a sensible value ? Thanx in advance Russ
Tiberius Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 (edited) I would have thought £40 for the issue copy (Column CO226 / CO227) with Here I Go Again is fair. Promo copies have Destination Heart Ache both sides so I guess will be less desirable as Here I Go Again is a good tune in it's own right. Motorcitymusic had a quantity of this 45 but these have long since dried up. Craig Moerer has a copy at $125 so JM is on the high side. Incidentally, the version of Destination Heartache, note no gap between Heart and Ache, on the Sugar To Dirt 45 (Column CO228 / CO229) is a different take and IMHO very poor so this 45 is just good for the Sugar To Dirt side.
