Guest Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 Any thoughts on a track "When the right one comes along (I'll Know) c/u as Betty Wilson & 4 Bars any help appreciated
Chalky Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 Is it recent cover up? I know the Sonja Grier track of the same title, well almost the same...surely not that?
Guest Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 It's on an old tape.....about 25 years old I guess it might just be the tape compiler's efforts.... I'll see if I can find that Sonja Grier to compare thanks
Chalky Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 Sonja Grier only a couple of years old. Do you have a sound file of the track in question?
Guest Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 (edited) not Sonja Grier...... "when the right comes along I''l know...yes I'll know got a feeling it won't be long" I'll know ..if this is my Love" Edited August 31, 2016 by Guest
Guest Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 (edited) thanks Alan... that is the track got 2 tracks by Dolly & fashions on other tapes Absence Just another fool but NOT "The Right One..." cheers Edited August 31, 2016 by Guest
Gene-r Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 (edited) Yep - it's "The Right One" by Dolly & The Fashions on Ivanhoe. I actually covered this up briefly as "I'll Know" by Rita & The Tiaras in the mid-80s. "Just Another Fool" is the flip-side. Nowadays, around £25 well spent. Edited September 1, 2016 by Gene-R

It wasn't covered up on the wide spectrum, Chalky - at least not as far as I'm aware. Only by me once or twice in small club guest spots as Rita & The Tiaras! Not sure about the Betty Wilson c/u though? Edited September 1, 2016 by Gene-R 1
