paultp Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 (edited) How wierd is this!! I was putting together a CD of mid-tempo stuff and reached for a box of recordable CD's and pulled out a These Old Shoes Anniversary CD from 2002. We used to get every guest DJ from the year to give us 2 tracks plus some from ourselves, then I'd spend christmas putting the CD's together to give away at the january anniversary do. The tracklist looks a bit dated now but at the time some of these were just starting to get plays. (Still looking for the Johnny DeVigne). Anyway, there are 9 of these things that I need to find a home for, first come first served, either send me a CD with tracklist of interesting stuff or 1.50 to cover P&P. Email me at ptp@just7.co.uk to check availability. here's the tracklist: Esther Phillips - Nobody But You - Jo Wallace Uniques featuring Joe Stampley - Not Too Long Ago - Barry James The Arabians - (Please) Take a Chance On Me - Paul T-P Amanda love - You Keep Calling Me By Her name - Marco Jackie Wilson - Lonely Life - Simon Bridger Marie Knight - To Be Loved By You - Alan H Johnny De'Vigne - I Smell Trouble - Ady Lupton Ozz & The Sperlings - Can You Qualify - Marco Santucci Benny Latimore - Girl I've Got New For You - Alan H Gladys Tyler - A Little Bitty Girl - Martin Thomson Marjorie Black - One More Hurt - Marco Mabel King - Go Back Home Young Fella - Martin Thomson The Fabulous Denos - I've Enjoyed Being Loved By You - Simon Bridger The Tymes - What Would I Do - Peter Jay HB Barnum - ]It Hurts Too Much To Cry - Barry James The Squires - Don't Accuse Me - Peter Jay Patti & The Emblems - It's The Little Things - Ady Lupton Star Treks - Gonna need magic - Roger Stewart Brenda & The Tabulations - That's In The Past - Soulful Cris Shawn Robinson - Find Love Right Now - Soulful Cris Barbara Mason - You Better Stop It - Marco Santucci Oliver Bush - I'll Make It Up To You - Paul T-P Mandrill - Too Late - Adam Buchanen Sunday - Ain't Got No Problems - Jo Wallace Brown Sugar - The Game Is Over - Adam Buchanen Philharmonics - I Need Your Love - Roger Stewart The Dells - Make Sure - These Old Shoes Here's the cover: Edited October 15, 2006 by paultp

Geoff Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 Happy to say I've got all the TOS CDs thanks to John Stubbs. Excellent, as I missed the first couple of years of it, so helped me to catch up. Always enjoy CDs from clubs, they generally give a feel for the music played there, and often you get tracks otherwise unavailable to the general public. Remember Ady Lupton playing Marian Stewart's I Must Be Losing You at the CSC at the Dome, and being over the moon the next morning to discover it on the club's CD.

Always seemed to be a mad dash down Tooley St. for the last tube at London Bridge
Guest WPaulVanDyk Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 would like a copy. That Jackie Wilson sounds like a good song.
paultp Posted October 20, 2006 Author Posted October 20, 2006 Sorry, these are all gone now. Thanks Paul
