Paulmc Posted August 6, 2016 Posted August 6, 2016 Just finished reading the book Page 39 refers "Like many kids growing up in Detroit the young Gordy had a soft spot for Clayton "Peg Leg" Bates, a one legged dancer whose leg was crudely amputated on his mothers kitchen table after an accident in a cotton field". Brilliant! would have loved to see him dancing to the Motown sounds.
