This will indeed make a great birthday present,to me of course. 

If the mags are anything to go by this book will be superb.

Yes the mags were great I just hope the book isn"t several of the features re-printed in book form. :g:

The Book is a totally different project Paul. There are obviously a few people that were featured in the mag issues (The Harthon guys for instance), but the info is updated and expanded in those one or two cases.

Looks to be a great book. One I'll definitely be buying. Will there be further books about other cities with a rich soul music heritage?
