Don't think it exists either. Even if the following number Chess 1904 by the Radiants 'voice your choice' came out as a W/D... and that should be the first Chess W/D I now understand.

Yes it is single sided with just a plain white label - the credits were simply hand written on in blue ballpoint pen.

Those golden words loved by many collectors - Promotion / Demonstration copy - are nowhere to be seen as it goes under the name Advance Pressing.

Jackie Ross - New Lover (same backing track as Selfish One) came out on a white demo - Chess 1920. I've not seem a white demo Selfish One though.

In the absence of a label scan to prove otherwise I reckon it's a fair guess to say there aren't any single sided white demo/promo copies of 'Selfish One' as such but there are single sided white label advance pressing copies.

And there's a simple explanation to the people that claim to have or have had a white demo copy - in reality they probably have/had a single sided white label advance pressing but their memory has simply logged it down as a W/D.
