October 14, 200618 yr He released it officially on a CD around 2003, and I think it had as being released in 1972 Cheers Simon, I've got what I'm pretty sure is a Suemi pressing of this. Delta number on it suggests it was made around '74 (delta 99521)...so it got booted very quickly after original release then? Adam.

October 14, 200618 yr As I thought but gotta double check as I couldn't find another boot with that label design on it...cheers! What about this from George Blackwell (again pretty sure it's a boot).... Yes it's a boot. But there is a good boot, very like the originals, so watch out! Originals look like this
October 14, 200618 yr Yes it's a boot. But there is a good boot, very like the originals, so watch out! Originals look like this Thanks, did noone buy originals at Wigan then??? Got a box of 100 records off a guy who bought them all at Wigan when he used to go and who gave up the scene when it closed....every USA issue bar one was a boot  Mind you, I did pay peanuts for them

Got a box of 100 records off a guy who bought them all at Wigan when he used to go and who gave up the scene when it closed....every USA issue bar one was a boot  Mind you, I did pay peanuts for them Very strange happenings during the Wigan era Can remember guys having original copies of stuff, and soon as it was rumoured that it was being booted, they got rid quick, as when summat was booted the price of the original plummeted, and it was never played out again! Typical conversation in record bar: ""Nice choons mate, but I've heard from Kev/Russ/Richard, that the Yum-Yums is being booted next week, better get rid quick" "Cheers mate, know anyone who wants it?" Crazy but true! Hardly ever saw many originals, apart from cheap stuff really, as people going to the states, or getting stuff from the US was still in it's infancy, and the perogative of the DJ's and "big boys" not really surprising when you think the average age at Wigan must have been about 17/18, and in those days the US was a world away, and beyond the reach of kids like us. We used to start rumours that a certain tune we wanted was being booted, so we could snap it up cheap Edited October 14, 200618 yr by Trevski
