Guest Classic45s Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 (edited) Is anyone familiar with this record and appropriate pricing? I've seen a few sale points, very wide ranging. I am not even sure what to call it...leaning towards popcorn, but would appreciate any thoughts from this group on genre classification and pricing. My copy is new and unplayed. Thanks! Roburt Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 I know it's done in a sort of Ramsey Lewis style (very loose definition as the guitar -- lead instrument -- is nowhere near Ramsey Lewis style or even soulful in any way) but this version of the old (Nat King Cole) standard just ain't worthy of soul nite plays (IMHO).
Guest Classic45s Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 Thanks Robert, I can't say I disagree with any that you say. In addition to the one sale point posted for EX, there was a minter that went for $360! Almost sounds a bit like a show tune to me.
