Thread here Yocky .

I've got the Howling Wolf 45 mentioned ('gonna wreck my life').  Wasn't hard to find nor expensive ...

Liam Quinn (Toodarnsoulful) also had a thread on here a while back.

Hi ya Yocki . Sorry for any confusion , thought it was the same track released at a different time , albeit different title . Great set in the Whitby Market Place btw.

not an answer to the question, but this song does get about a bit

This 45 is originally issued on a 'silver top' Chess in 1954, the flip is 'Rockin' Daddy' and I can tell you it is pretty tough to find as a first press. I would put the value at about $600 - $800 if you could find one, it took me quite a few years to find my copy. It was later re-issued on a Chess 'Gold vertical' issue I think in the early 60's when the Wolf was becoming more popular. Killer 45!

IMO I would also like to add that old, stupid and white people should not try to sing Blues music.

that made me smile

Just to correct some misinformation in this & the other therads

Came out twice on 45.

First press 1954

Chess 1566 No Place To Go/Rockin Daddy

Second press 1959

Chess 1744 The Natchez Burning/You Gonna Wreck My Life

There is also an alternate take with more harmonica
