Vadnochka Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 I doubt it - that one actually came from Pete Jenny from Blaby and was a 75p shot in the dark ( may have been a £ to win it )against Pep from the Cats on one of Pete's auctions - late 72 / early 73, because he only lived a few miles away we would trawl through his lists and then ring him just before the auction closed to get the latest bid info and react accordingly, then nip round to pay and pick up our latest bunch of mainly hopefuls - for every winner there were dozens of duds - 'OK Wheeler the used car dealer' - but the label looked fantastic. I played it at that early 70's legendary club - the Fantasia at Quorn on what is now the old A6 and eventually it made its way to Ian Levine at the Mecca and of course the rest is history. That said the 45 shown does look great. Steve Frost 2
