Anthony & the Delsonics - Every time / I never had a girl so sweet - Emerge 1106 Ex OFFERS
(And them some........... fantastic St Louis male group dancer, laced with harmonies and horns. The flip emphasises those Southern States roots. Graded Ex primarily due to slightly grubby labels, and whilst there are 3 or 4 minor marks on the vinyl they are superficial and it plays mint minus both sides. Opening at £1500)

 

Tan Geers - Let my heart and soul be free / What's the use of me trying - Okeh 7319 WD Ex £600 SOLD
(Upgraded to a minter, this ever popular double sider still resides at the top of many wants lists)

 

Edwin Starr - Scott's on Swingers - Ric Tic 109 WD Ex+ £275
(Needs no introduction, in house dedication to local DJ Scott Regen. One of the rarer White Demos on the label)

 

Doni Burdick - I have faith in you / Bari Track - Sound Impression Records 6807 M- OFFERS
(Unbelievable pairing, great version of the mid-tempo classic backed by Mike Terry's insatiable sax appeal. Darren Brown has one up at present and the way his auctions have been going it's likely to well exceed four figures. Opening at £850)

 

JoAnn Courcy - I got the power - Twirl 2026 WD Vg++ £1000 SOLD
(Detroit classic that never goes out of fashion. Some light superficial marks on the vinyl hence the visual grade, but plays mint minus. Dave Pinches copy went for £1100 a month ago, I was told it had several chasers so be quick)

 

Colette Kelly - City of fools - Volt 4018 WD M- £200 SOLD
(One of the hottest 45's about, easy to understand why, this slick crossover dancer is packing the floors. Seen some blue issues go for £200 and more lately and this is IMHO the rarer format - West Coast white label promo)
