Tom C Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 We all know about the Parkway P-933 release by the Tymes where some issues come with "Anymore" as a B-side rather than the more common "Here She Comes" but why did it happen? As the label on the "Anymore" copy still says "Here She Comes" it certainly looks like a mix up somewhere. The picture shows an interesting issue of their previous release P-924 where "Here She Comes" is replaced by the previously undocumented (I think) "It's you and Only You." "Malibu" remains the A-side. I bought it on ebay from a seller in Philadelphia so I reckon it was quite common for the Tymes to release a local copy that was a little different in order to promote sales. They did it again when MGM were distributing their singles. The mistake with "Anymore" is probably that they just forgot to get the label right. When I get time I'll post a sound file but you're not missing much: it's a little saccharine for modern tastes and will probably remain a bit of an oddity.
