Got it on a Stafford tape too somewhere but again crap quality.

Be interesting to see if anyone comes up with a clean mp3 of this as the record itself never shows up (missed one on a list about a year and half ago for £350) - agree a great, forgotten Guy spin from Stafford

I've probably got it on another tape somewhere, will have a look sometime. Rarely see it for sale nowadays. Maybe too fast these days?
Guest uroffal Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 How much is this one now Was one on ebay a few months ago - sadly cracked, but did with a fair bit of noise, went for about £30! Would think a good copy would be £300 (dealer) cheaper on ebay probably as still known to relatively few people I think.

Loads of records you see regularly, often on a weekly basis that for some reason are fetching far more. I personally rate it more than £300 but probably a victim of it's obscurity, that and the fact no f*cker can keep up with it these days

I personally rate it more than £300 but probably a victim of it's obscurity, that and the fact no f*cker can keep up with it these days Couldn't agree more - £300 would be a steal considering it never shows, but I reckon would be hard to get much more (seem to recall someone selling one a couple of years ago for around £350) simply because, as you, say it suffers from its obscurity. Amazes me how difficult it is to sell something genuinely rare (and relatively unknown, which you'd have thought would make it more desirable) for anything like a realistic price, when overplayed, VERY common records still sell for silly money - I know it's supply and demand, but that doesn't excuse some of the prices being achieved on records that are listed on ebay week-in-week-out. Was very tempted, even by the cracked one personally. If I get one I know who to try to sell it to - then you can stick it in your 'hotbox' Edited March 29, 2007 by uroffal
Simon M Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 I well remember this record .. not hot-box though
Guest uroffal Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 (edited) I well remember this record .. not hot-box though I just want to make as much use of the word 'hotbox' as I can - it's the latest buzzword I think I'll start a thread called 'what's in your hotbox & what will you be replacing them with' then we can determine what's hot and what's will be Edited March 29, 2007 by uroffal
