John Green
Hi Larry, They have moved to premises in Bury somewhere and now only sell via the internet. Think they have been there over 6 months now. John. Link to comment Social source share

nrc
its a shame to see when quality record shops close, but it makes sense online only, no big overhead's . Link to comment Social source share
Winsford Soul
Hasn't it moved to Prestwich. Bury new road or something, open a few days a week or on request to pick thing's up. Sure something was on here about it. Probably wrong again. Steve Link to comment Social source share

Steve Hi Steve, you're right: Beatin' Rhythm has moved to new premises:- Bank Studios, Warwick Street, (opposite the Istanbul resturant), Prestwich. The new telephone number is 0161 773 1589. Open Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Mon to Wed by appointment. 1 Link to comment Social source share
Frankie Crocker
Great shame really, but understandable. Was the best record store in the city centre and a 'must visit destination'. Britain is a hard place to operate any business on the High Street with extortionate rents and taxes etc. Let's hope the on-line venture prospers. Guest
Was in Manchester on Friday, and armed with the knowledge re BR, tried FOPP. Staff member had no idea what Ace/Kent was. They didn't seem to stock any Kent CDs at all......although they had loads of Japanese Atlantic albums on re-issue for £5...Otis, Wilson Pickett, Clarence Carter, Aretha , Sweet Inspirations etc...not bad and some cheap NS comps too..
