Lycra-Clad-Soul-Boys Ready To Roll!

Lycra-Clad-Soul-Boys Ready To Roll! magazine cover

In April 2015 our very good friend Paul Thrower was diagnosed with MND. This is a particularly random illness which strikes without warning and for no real reason. As you'll remember the ice bucket challenges have dramatically raised awareness, but there still needs to be far more research into how & why this disease works.Paul is facing this disease with great humour & bravery in his usual pant swinging & retro sock style, which we all know is part of his character!

On the 12th Dec 2015 whilst having a few pints at "Seriously Soulful" in Bristol, John Pearson, Chris Anderton & Dave Lucas had the brilliant idea of cycling for MND awareness from Dab of Soul Nantwich to Seriously Soulful Bristol. The event will be over 2 days (13th-14th May 2016) covering 140 miles. Chris Anderton, Ian Bulloch, Dave Lucas, Steve McColgan, John Pearson, Jack Phillips, Kev Rodgers, Steve Wagstaff & Phil Wainwright are the Soulful lycra clad participants.

To promote further awareness & research we very much appreciate your donations through JustGiving, by doing this you are potentially saving someone's life in the future. All the team would like to thank you so much for every penny donated for a Dab of Seriously Soulful Money for MND Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Enjoy the ride and great that you'll have the weather for it! Was good to see Jonno dedicated in Yarmouth last month, squeezed into his best MAMIL gear, out bright and early to get some training in after a late night on the drink:thumbsup:...at least that's what he told me he was doing anyway:D All the best and have a great soul night celebration after! Steve.
