Ted Massey Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Its ok but nowhere near as good as the Bombay outing. this is only my opinion others will probably be different
Dobber Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 i'll rescue you on bombay is the one for me,much more of an interesting tune in every way,the one on flute is only attractive because it has flash mckinley on it,if it was someone else you wouldnt look twice at it! chuck it in the bin!
TheBigO Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 (edited) Agree with Chalky on this one, the Bombay release far superior plus that unissued acetate that was doing the rounds a few years back that i can only remember being called something like "That Ani't fair (who told you)" which i another goodie from Bill. He was a piano player and writer for Chess records and co-wrote one of my all time fave 6Ts "Selfish One" for Jackie Ross. Thats' all the info I have on him. Edited May 4, 2016 by TheBigO
Dave Thorley Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Don't want to be to brutal as I know you want to sell it, but the A side is flat, almost like he didn't care about the song he was recording and the B side sounds like a Saturday afternoon picture house organ recording, sorry you did ask 1
