Pete S Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 hi guys and gals, was looking through boxes at the weekend and saw this with a diff b side to my copy. my copy has push away from the table as the b side, is one original and other a pressing etc ? thanks for any info given That'll be the second pressing, with Bill Pursell - Heartbeat on the other side.
arnie j Posted October 5, 2006 Author Posted October 5, 2006 thanks pete, any idea of todays value of my first pressing mate ?
Pete S Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 thanks pete, any idea of todays value of my first pressing mate ? Well the original now goes for anything from 100 to 150, the first pressing as in bootleg/reissue I've seen go for up to 40 quid but anyone paying that must be mental, the one with Heartbeat on the back 10-20 quid I guess. Nicest one of the lot is the white demo, had that 3 times now and regretted selling it every time.
Cunnie Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Got a mint copy with Bill Purcell on the b side for sale. First £20 can have it inc UK postage. PM if interested. Trivia time, can anybody remember what Bill Purcell was covered up as by Sam?
Guest Awake 502 Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Trivia time, can anybody remember what Bill Purcell was covered up as by Sam? Sons of Moses / "Soul stompin"
Guest martyn Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Sons of Moses / "Soul stompin" So what would Heatbeat on a Spar issue be worth?
Pete S Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 "Push away from the table" is the best side. Yes of course it is.
Guest Simon Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Yes of course it is. Must admit i don't get PAFTT, to me it's a dull plodder whereas IWBTLY is sheer brilliance imho. Simon
Platters 81 Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 His "Happy go lucky" 45 on Spar is a nice tune.....quite elusive as well.....
Pete S Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Must admit i don't get PAFTT, to me it's a dull plodder whereas IWBTLY is sheer brilliance imho. Simon Thats what I meant
Guest BBB Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 So what would Heatbeat on a Spar issue be worth? Hi Martyn Put a copy on Ebay couple of weeks ago, expected about £10 - £15 for it, eventually went for £46. Barry Cooper
