Wally Francis Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 I go 9th May & already checked it out, nothing happening.
Sebastian Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 Matt Weingarden is doing his soul night every Wednesday at a downstairs bar called Botanica on 47 East Houston Street (between Mulberry and Mott). I totally recommend that. Here's the Facebook link to the 28 April event, but it's on every wednesday and has been for 20 years: https://www.facebook.com/events/1724897944390433/ 2

solidhit Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 A few of us are spinning rare soul 45s from 5pm-10pm on Sunday, 8 May at the Beast Next Door in Long Island City, Queens. It's a short subway ride from Manhattan or Brooklyn. There's a public facebook invite for it. Just search for "Sunday Soul Session". Address is 45-21 27th Street in Long Island City.
Guest Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Went 2 years ago...Brill Buiding seemed empty to me. tried to get in but guard wouldn't open door. Don't think there is any attempt to recognise it's history....or am I wrong ?
