Manhattan Club , Harrogate . 23rd April What a pleasure it was to spin a few in such esteem company behind the decks – Mike Warburton, John Kelly, Jonny Monk, Andrew & Eileen Vasey, Andrew Melia and Dekka who made it, imho, the best 'Dekkas Roots Room' yet. Big thanks to all, great fun, not least the dancers on the floor & feedback. Must also mention the excellent 6ts RnB early doors set from Ripon's Richard Stockdale, who incidently unbeknown to me, runs his own monthly soul club at the Golden Lion. Like so many, still buzzing from all the tunes played by Dekka & guests , not least 'Jackie Edwards – Oh Mary – Hit-ton' Best of all its ' Dekkas Roots Room ' again this Sunday at the 4 Room Leeds Rhinos Alldayer.
