Guest SteveJohnston Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 (edited) (They call me) Jessie James. The Dreams featuring Keni Lewis This keni Lewis & Gene dozier produced & penned song as got to be one of the best-forgotten oldies around today! Can't remember the last time this was played out at a soul night or all-nighter that I've attended. Take a look on JM's site to see about digging a little deeper! John M is right I for one had let this little gem slip my memory. Big thanks to Paul Rudzitis for reminding me. Steve J Edited October 5, 2006 by STEVE JOHNSTON

Guest Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 This came up for discussion somewhere else recently (was it on Soul Source?)...'Charge' by Strings 'n Things on Jet Set is kind of the same melody but slowed right down in a sort of 'Hungry For Love' style. I can't think what the story was now but 'Strings 'N Things' is Dale Warren written and directed by Ray Gordy and 'Charge' is Gene Dozier written.
