Its an absolutely blinding tune that Ive had since the early 70s. I see an acetate of Keep Forgettin' / Ooh Poo Pah Doo that was apparently fond in Sonnys estate with another also being found. Amazing that the Sisters didnt know anything about Sonny, Bill & Cuppy Haley and Tony Messina supposedly using studio singers to release it.

I am one of the Thornton Sisters and we NEVER recorded this song.  Sonny Casella most likely used studio musicians to record this song under our name.

I had that acetate but it's gone I'm afraid. Much more recent find so I suspect Guy's was an issue

Had it twice on Cuppy over the years Col. Pretty tough record I think, especially these days.
