Cant help thinking that the Diane Lewis - You Aint Got A Chance on Soulclub sounds really slow and as if her and the band need winding up...i did have this on a live Droylsden Concord Suite all-niter when Butch dj'd there many years ago and I am sure it sounded a lot faster than the soulclub version....decks speeded up maybe?

Anyone shed any light on this?

Butch does play it faster than the file on soul club. I think the file on soul club originates from a tape Butch did for a well knoiwn dj of the time back in the 80's. I have a recording taken from one of the cuts donme at the time so I poresume that is the proper speed and it's notched up a tad when played out.

Top Tune, reminds me of my first visits the 100 club mid to late 80's.

Anyone got a sound file of this I could have.
