Hi,

Found Some Interesting CD Cover In The Net With Some Artists I´ve Never Seen Or Which I Don´t Know.

Need Your Help Concerning The Marked Artists. I Think Some Guys Out There Will Know Them For Sure.

Every Cover Does Have A Number - So Please Name The Cover And The "Shown-Marked" Artists - So We Don´t Get Confused.

I Hope Every Artist Can Be Identified - Would Be Great.

I Know That It Will Take A Few Minutes But It Would Be Smashing If We Can Identify All Of Them

By Time I Will Enter Them With Bio Dates To The Following Thread:

Would Be Great If Some Will Find Some More N New Material For The Artists which Are Listed In This Thread - I Would Like To Continue With It.

Thanks In Advance For Your Support

CD6 King  - Mary Johnson, Cody Black

CD7 Classiest Rs 3-   Charles Drain

CD8 Detroit -   Albert Jones, Mack Rice, Edd Henry

CD9 Dave Hamilton -    Chico and Buddy, Little Ann, Dave Hamilton, Dottie and Millie

I've listed some not highlighted and duplicated other posts. Info of these from sleeve notes but a couple are not clear, so are marked ?

CD16- Taking a guess from the first three artists listed could be Commands, Pic and Bill, and (fairly sure ) Oscar Perry. Also CD17- Barbara Perry?

Zanetti

CD 20, the Pack, you mean the group? If so Fantastic Four me thinks, Sweet James Epps sat down.

The other two on CD20 are (as I'm sure the vast majority will know) the Fantastic Four and JJ Barnes.

Certainly in the case of the Kent CDs (at least the ones like the King CD which I designed) the artists are IDed in the booklets.

That's why I like Kent CD's - the booklets are full of info!

The singer to the right of Garland Green  on CD 2 also appears on the cover of "Jumping At The Go-Go" - there's no info on

that CD either.

CD4 (Northern Soul Collector 2) - the guy in the middle is Bobby Freeman.

You're absolutely right, not Roscoe Shelton as I said. The inner booklet for Northern Soul Collector 2 uses exactly the same shot of Bobby Freeman as the discogs picture from your link. Bobby Freeman isn't even on the CD. Someone at Outta Sight slipped up there, but hopefully they got it right for Roscoe Shelton on Northern Soul Collector 3 (CD14) ,pictured on the left.

One missing on CD12 the Guy in the Hickory issue is Little Archie. My copy of this CD (Dial 3 for Northern Soul) has a slightly different cover. The shot of Little Archie is on the inside sleeve notes of my copy not on the front cover. Outta Sight also changed the cover on their RCA compilation .
