Kegsy Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 I don't think this has been mentioned before, this little ditty keeps getting played on the pub jukebox. No prizes for guessing which track has been sampled for the backing.

Rick Scott Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Sounds very much like an uptempo 'Kiss my love goodbye' Betty Swann :0)
Kegsy Posted March 13, 2016 Author Posted March 13, 2016 When I pulled the young sprog, who keeps playing it, and played him the original on my phone and told him it was from 1974, his face was a picture !!!!!.

My mum used to do a similar thing to me by singing along to tunes like "Put your arms around me" and "At last" when I thought I was listening to 'underground northern soul' - those old folk can be annoying can't they!

I sincerely hope so, it's always worth bringing the "we invented sex, drugs and rock n roll" yoof back to reality. 2

Its not the pubs fault, its the pratt who services the juke box.
Soulfinger Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 It's an absolute abomination! My wife tells me it's a staple tune at her Zumba class.
