Most of those released came to UK when it was played at the Mecca circa '74. Hard to get in the USA. It was released to coincide with Washington DC's 'Summer In the Park's festival. So its lifespan was literally a few months, a bit like releasing a record to celebrate the Notting Hill Carnival, and to be sold on the day. It is probably the first ever -go-go record, live band recording, big percussion marching-band horn section and namechecks for the big funk band's of the era, including Kool and the Gang and DC's own Soul Searchers. It divides opinion but I like it.

Absolutely brilliant- one of the top sounds at the Ritz with people blowing their whistles.

So its abit rarer than people think Hmmmm!

John Manship has one for £25.00 bit pricy but if you want it!

Done this before,offered a good plus copy fer` a tenner,not good enough if you want it,i might find it again got two,one mint minus and mine

This was massive early 76 which was when all the copies became available. Like Ken, I had one for sale on here recently for a tenner. I'm no 70's fan but when they're uptempo dancers like this I can't knock them.

What a record , when I first heard this I realized Northern soul dancing wasn't only about moving around strangely from side to side ..Hey man thats Kool and the Gang !! Love it
