Gotsoul Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Out of the windy city-Chicago came a group called The Dukays in the early sixties with some nice soul...[The Girl's A Devil-Festival Of Love-Kissing In The Kitchen-Nightowl] and then they got a big hit with[Duke Of Earl]but lost their lead singer to a solo career, Gene Chandler didn't waste any time either...[God Bless Our Love-Just Be True-Gonna Be Good Times-Rainbow Of Love-The Girl Don't Care-Nothing Can Stop Me-Man's Temptation-What Now-River Of Tears] Gene was a big name in the soulful sixties and he was still around in the seventies[Groovy Situation- Not The Marrying Kind-Get Down]and the eighties[Does She Have A Friend-Please You Tonight]and he's still doing it today...just a legend-Gene Chandler-The Duke Of Soul! 1
