What's the delta number of the original?

I have what I think is the re-issue and it's 83211 which puts it in the 70's, but it is on styrene.

Think it was re-issued around that time, due to 'northern' demand. Don't see many originals these days tho' I wanted one for quite some time.

I think this has the same backing as

Godoy Colbert - Baby I Like It - Revue

I'll have to dig out the record to make sure.

soulmac.

Correct  (But Len takes the biscuit!)

The Flipside to " All My Good Loving" - "The Elevator Song" - is a Tremendous tune!

Which makes it a top double sider in my book!

I have a Godoy Colbert that I am about to put on ebay, a nice promo, but i'd be happy to sell it now for £70 if anyone's interested.

Which one was released first Len Jewell or Godoy Colbert ?

soulmac.

Godoy Colbert was December 1968, Len was late 1970 and I've never ever played the flipside "Elevator Song" since the 70s thanks for the tip.. i'm digging it out today to refresh my memory. Edited by john manship

hey

If you listen to the Godey version he actually says the line "All my good lovin" I was only listening to it in my car last week. Woldn't sell my Len Jewell, it has too many memories of great nights and great all dayers in the 70ts

Godoy Colbert is equally as good as Len Jewell, can't split the two really, and as Joan mentioned, the other side of the Godoy Colbert 45 "I Wanna Thank You " is fabulous too ! yes.gif
