I lived in Wolverhampton for most of 1970 thru 74 so there should be a lot in this book I can relate to. Anyway just ordered a copy from Amazon and they let you read the first couple of chapters on line. Wow! Moving stuff. There are not too many books in my life that I have read in one session. But this might just be one of them.
Frankie Crocker Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 Thanks for the heads up - ordered it straight away. Remember him well from Wigan. Third in the First Anniversary Dance Competition. In Wigan's Chosen Few on Top of The Pops. All-round cool guy, slick-dresser, brilliant dancer... Really looking forward to reading the book.
Winsford Soul Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 Just ordered a copy. So looking forward to reading it. Steve
