just played a us copy to sell followed by a uk copy pye dist stax issue and on  the uk copy the instumentation is that far back in the mix it's almost like a different mix, any body got some they can compare please,

Are you looking for the UK copy or the US copy for comparison? I've only got a US version but it's mixed with the bass cranked right up. I also wonder if there's an instrumental version out there (heard in a club scene in the film Gangster No 1) too.
