BITTER & SWEET - YOU CALL ME (LOLLIPOP) (C/UP) G+ OFFERS OVER £650  SOLD
I have had this covered-up for the last couple of years. There are 4 known copies including this. I have just found another better condition copy so letting my play copy go. One is in a DJ collection Stateside and one other (poor condition) unaccounted for. The artists don't have copies and it was a minuscule private press. Stupendous 70's dancer in playable condition. Best 70's discovery since Ishola Muhammed! Please bid accordingly.

JUST US - WE'VE GOT A GOOD THING GOING / HOW I LOVE YOU (VINCENT) VG  £600  SOLD
Almost impossible to find 'rarest of the rare' Crossover. Two total beauties on one disc. Lots of fine marks but nothing feel-able. Plays way above visual grade.

LEE WILLIAMS - SINCE I DON'T HAVE YOU / REACH OUT & TOUCH (BLACK SOUL) VG+  £350
His rarest by far is a gorgeous slice of Crossover soul from '75.
Soul Sam spun this a while back but copies never surfaced, in fact the Popsike one I bought was in rough condition. Here is a cleanish copy that not too many people know.

BUTCH JOHNSON - SMOOTH DANCIN'  / EVERLASTING LIFE (KANDUN) Ex  £300  SOLD
Fabulous crossover dancer out of Ohio.
Equally nice stepper on the flip. Very rare and almost unknown.

R & D BLUES BAND - I'VE BEEN AROUND (REXIUX) M-  £275  SOLD
That man Sam again! This is a current spin of his. Very obscure dancer out of Portland, Oregano.
on the rise and in perfect condition complete with picture sleeve. Don't sleep on this!

CLIFF TATE - BETTER WAYS BETTER DAYS (RANGER) Ex £250
Previously covered up as 'Charles & New Experience' appeared on Ebay as an unknown last week and sold for more than this! 70's Michigan obscurity with legs for the adventurous dj.

VILLAGE CHOIR - SWEET HOT LIPS / ALONG THE BEACH  (N.Y.C STREET SOUND) VG+  £250  SOLD
Sir Charles Matthews project and his best 45.. A little wear and small writing on label but plays great!
Red styrene copy here. A truly magnificent 70's tune.

ROY ROBERTS - GOT TO HAVE YOUR LOVE (NINANDY) EX  £195  SOLD
An atmospheric floor filling stormer ever since the heady days at Stafford. White dj copy with small sticker removal vinyl copy.

EMANUEL LASKEY - RIGHT ON (WIT' IT)  / JUST THE WAY (I WANT HER TO BE)  (MUSIC NOW) NM  £175
Unplayed copy! Highly in-demand funky 70's c/w the most exquisite crossover flip. Clips are from a previous ex copy but this is pristine.

MASTERPIECE - LOVE AFFAIR / WE'RE GONNA MAKE IT  (YPSI) VG++ £150  SOLD
Outstanding 70's dancer c/w a crossover beauty. 
Light surface marks only plays EX+

MELODY BROS feat ALLEN MANN - MORE AND MORE (REND) VG  £90
Really Raw & Funky deep bassline soul that kills it going into the 2nd half especially when Mr Mann shrieks it out!  Recorded live at 'Millas Steak House'! Only copy I've ever seen they don't come much more obscure.... 

MARC IV - MARC IV (theme) / POORPETE (UNDERGROUND SOUNDS) VG  £90  SOLD
From 1967 and the pen of Poree Peters who later wrote for Friends Of Distinction comes these two instrumentals. Would have been an allnighter monster in the 70's Flip is a good funky jazzy tune too. Very obscure, only seen two copies ever.

BEVERLY WHEELER & CAMEROS - DON'T SHAKE MY TREE  / VOCAL VERSION (BSC) VG+  £85  SOLD
Rare instance when the inst. is better than vocal. Extremely good production for such a tiny label. Did get a spin or two at the 100 club but largely forgotten 70s (?) from places unknown and written by someone called 'Splibe viii' !!!!!

SOUL BROS. INC. - LONG DARK NIGHT FOR PREJUDICE  (S.B.I) VG++  £75  SOLD
I first heard this on a cd comp thought it unreleased but here it is! A super soulful tune that could've been recorded by Gil-Scott Heron or Terry Callier (Charles Conrad on vocals) Not your usual S.B.I fare but tremendous.

BENNIE WATSON - IT'S A TERRIBLE SITUATION (WATSON'S AND CO) M-  £75  on HOLD
Out of Orlando, Fla. comes this uptempo private press soul stormer that could easily take off.

EVA TURNER - BRING YOUR BODY / YOU CAN'T COME EMPTY HANDED (CAT) VG++  £65  SOLD
Two (late 70's??) Lou Courtney tunes on this obscure Italian only release. Some serious dance floor damage with '..body' and a cool ballad flip.

LEWIS CLARK & WINEDRINKERS - THE GREAT L.A EARTHQUAKE / THE WINO (ULTIMATE) EX  £65  SOLD
Lewis always does a good line in 'far out productions' and this is no different. Cool guy Mr Lewis, wished I'd met him..

SAINT CHARLES - ROCK ME IN YOUR ARMS / THANK YOU FOR THE PARTY (ROWENA) VG++ £55
Aka Chucky Thurman. One of only two releases by the man, here on a delightful mid tempo 1976 super, soulful stroller. Very, very nice and a toughie. small stickers on label. Flip is a boogie/funk number.

FREDDIE WATSON - TOGETHER BABY / IT'S ALL OVER NOW (ELOYS) VG  £55
Late 60's (?) Crossover with some tough drum action. Splendid mid-tempo flip too. Not widely known!

TIMOTHY CRAIG - LOVE LETTERS TO A FOOL (PILOT MASTER) VG+  £55
Yet another obscurity on this Ohio label from 1978.
A real grower!

HOLLAND-DOZIER - NEW BREED KINDA WOMAN / IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE IN MY LIFE (INVICTUS) EX  £40
Classy magic from the HDH team. Both sides are immense!

DAVE ASBERRY - I WISH IT WAS LOVE (ESP) M-  £40 
1983 Modern Soul charmer never seen on a 7''.

HANK BALLARD - I AM JUST A JUNKIE FOR MY BABY'S LOVE / LOVE, WHY IS IT TAKING SO LONG (CHESS FR)  EX  £40
Stupendous funky Chicago soul on both sides, this time on a rare French picture sleeve issue.

MAHOGANY - MY CHANCE TO DANCE  (MAHOGANY) M-  £35
1980 Detroit for this self released Modern dancer.

LAWRENCE & ARABIANS - COINCIDENCE / OOH BABY (HEM)  VG  £35
100mph stormer on the highly collectable HEM label that just sounds 'Niter' perfect again.
