Found the name Kai Haynes whilst digging, he's a bass player and vocalist from Charleston and recorded one record for the group during a five year stint from 1966. Are you gonna post the soundfile? Great record.

ROD Hi Rod, the info I found while digging just related to Kai Haynes so could well be other releases. Don't know if Kai even sang lead with the group.

Superb tune, & both sides of The Fantastics version on SS7 are top drawer soul music (I Love This Scene!!!) Think I will give it an outing at Easington on Sat
