Jon18 Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Hi To all these two records where in a collection I bought can't find anything about these two any help and there value greatly appreciated thanks Jon The Emanons A side chalypso B side stomper label Doll in red vinyl Cory Glover A side little girl B side sad little girl
George G Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Emanons is a good instrumental from c. 1960 - but repressed a few times, the copy pictured here looks like a repress. Cory Glover was (is?) the lead singer for the US band Living Colour. If this is really him, it's probably a recent recording.
Ted Massey Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Cory Glover was CD only and pressed up in the late 90's because of demand on the NS scene
Pga1 Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 As ted says Corey glover was pressed up due to demand, lots of folk thought it was al green. Sad little girl big 100 club tune, album track originally. Cheers
Benji Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 "sad little girl" is by Les McCann, LP only track. Are both sides of the pressing credited to Cory Glover?
Pga1 Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 The solid centre ones are credited to les McCann, think large hole centres may have Corey on both sides ? Cheers
Daved Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 No the press with the big hole credits LesMcCann on the flip Value is £5?
