SteveM Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 Probably showing my ignorance here but i don't know this. Mart...
Ady Potts Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 Don't ever recall seeing this on sale. I would imagine it to be genuinely rare - any idea on current price tag? Hi Gene, Just had a look at another one that sold on ebay a while back, & this latest one has used the same scan. May be worth just asking him to verify run out markings, pm me if you want to know what they are. Here's the other one... https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...A%3AIT&rd=1 Better safe than sorry mate. Ady.
Gene-r Posted September 27, 2006 Author Posted September 27, 2006 Hi Ady, Thanks for the heads-up. I've just received a postal reference from the seller. Hopefully this should mean that it is actually on its way. But you're right....the scan is exactly the same. Fingers crossed! Will let you know how I get on. Gene
Mark Jones Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 (edited) Yeh was Deffo Keb "Shit Hot" Darge who played it at TOTW Stafford. Remember it well, loved the record at time and I was fit enough to dance to it too then! Was a bit of "New Sixties" fan at the time following Keb and Guy around like the proverbial lap dog! Sure I've got it on a live Stafford tape I did at the time somewhere...will try and dig it out and listen to all the scots expletives again! Here's a quick sample too for those who don't know it.Face_Reality.mp3 Edited September 27, 2006 by soulechoes
Guest shrinkwrap Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 Guy Hennigan also played Face Reality in the early eighties.
Jaco Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 Guy Hennigan also played Face Reality in the early eighties. Had this on a tape for years probably via Rod Dearlove or George Sharp. Good tune, other OP tracks are maybe better imo, but cannot understand extreme opinions about the track. Value surely down to market forces?
