Patto
Next up from me is a Terrific slab of soul that was introduced to me by Martyn a couple of years ago on one of his CDs he kindly sent to me.First time i heard it i had to get one but it took me a good year to nail one at the right price.Lately it seems to be rightly going up in value and i would love to hear it introduced to a classic Northern crowd it could just impress as a dancer if slotted in at the right time.Have you spun it out much Martyn ? 3 Link to comment Social source share

Won't be everyone's cup of tea but I really like it, Michael Allen 'It doesn't matter anymore' (MGM) A Johnny Harris production too. Johnny was born in Scotland and made his name producing and arranging albums for the likes of Tom Jones, Englebert , Lulu and Jackie Trent in the 1960's , moving on to bigger things in the states during the early 1970's. The move led to a lot of TV work and it's interesting to note that there's reference to this on here. Growing up in the 60's I don't mind a decent pop tune and you'll have to admit Chris, that Johnny Harris is hardly in the same league, Soul wise as Rick Hall, though even he succombed to the lure of producing rock bands. I can listen to Ian Levine's mixes without prejudice cos I never went to the Mecca or any of his gig. Although at times seeming obsessed with rarity, he does play some nice tunes but also the odd duffer. Thanks for sharing. nice northern soul tunes, 2 Link to comment Social source share
