Billy Jo Jim Bob Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 I'm sure there was a thread about 12 months ago on some unreleased Ike Perry tracks. There was a sound file from memory also. Cant remember the titles but I'm sure someone will dig out the thread.
Mal C Posted December 19, 2015 Author Posted December 19, 2015 got the sound files from the ebay post at the time, I always grab them and the scans... I may never own them but at least I'll remember their existence.. happy to send anybody what I have, just pip m your email...
Alan Bonthrone1 Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Any idea what year this was recorded ?
Sean Hampsey Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 Hi Mal, did you see this came up again recently and sold for £1468 last night? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/383295239797 I had the uptempo track on tape in the early/mid 80's. The 'Don't Turn around' track was listed as 'Keep On Walking' back then. Sean 1
John Reed Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 (edited) I noticed that the label design and text of the one sold on Sunday is different to the one pictured earlier in the thread. Also the typed details are also different. I understand differences with different pressing plants, but would that be the case with an acetate, would they not be all pressed in the same place? Correct John. It is, as you say, completely different. I was suspicious of the first one. The tapes having been around for 30 years. And now the appearance of this other one, looking a bit random in comparison. Sean
