Ady Croasdell Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 On Cinderella, anybody got a sound file I could hear? Ta Ady
mshoals Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 Ady, I can send you an mp3 later today (together with the Nookie Boy scans).
Ady Croasdell Posted December 8, 2015 Author Posted December 8, 2015 You're on fire with that N'Orleans soul. Thanks very much indeed ady
Guest noss Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 It's quite a poppy track. Not really my cup of tea really. Record looks better than it sounds!
Garethx Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 I think it's a pretty good record: jazzy rather than poppy. This was apparently recorded at the same sessions as his two AFO singles but released in the time frame before WT started making his NOLA tracks. Some interesting background on Home Of The Groove here: https://homeofthegroove.blogspot.com.es/2011/07/suiting-summer-to-tee-willie-gaturs.html Foolish Girl is pretty scarce: certainly rarer than some of the Willie Tee NOLA and Gatur 45s. 1
Guest noss Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 Only three copies on Popsike in the last five years, compared to around three pages of First Taste of Hurt and a tenth of the price.
