Guest TONY ROUNCE Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 I Know the Ray Charles is a early thing..... It's a different Ray Charles - this is a white MOR group, and these RC singers were heard, more often than not, behind the likes of Perry Como etc. These Andantes are a male group from, I think, Northern California Do you actually own this Ike & Tina acetate? Sean Hampsey Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 More 45's...... any info appreciated on artists etc. Madlyn Quebec is a nice $5 record. The topside is "The Love I've Been Looking For" (an OK ballad). Don't remember the flip. Sean

Sean ...IMO most of Madelyn Qubec's 45s are worth a cheap punt. She was, by coincidence, a member of Ray Charles' (our Ray Charles, that is!) Raelets in the early 1970s, when the group line up was Mable John, Alex Brown and Madelyn. Now there's a supergroup for you! TONE
