Def no expert on this subject but during 7ts loads of mirwood stuff  seemed ready available, some were probably re pressed.  Things like 'oh my darling' etc  due to demand, trouble is we're talking over 40 odd years ago and stuff gets mixed in.  Let's just say there seems to be quite a lot of white demos about these days. Keep your blue one. Did it have a uk issue on jay boy ? Cheers

or even that sneaky 'soul fox label'  although  I've heard they are now in demand. Look for vardy- Mahrez in the title credits cheers

Can you post a scan ? the boots were a lighter shade of blue, Mirwood did release on vinyl, they're not all boots.

No, it's deep blue and yes, the vinyl issue of Bobby Garrett's 'I can't get away' is a bootleg. It's even low-fi when you play it. It just looks better than it sounds. When you play it you understand that something is wrong...

Yes some Mirwoods only came out on vinyl.  Jackie Lee "Oh My Darling" is a perfect example, no styrene original of this!  Sheppards, Richard Temple, Jimmy Conwell to name a few others.

hi Darren there is what looks like an incomplete circle where you said, was it ever pressed on vinyl though, the matrix no 59636 is what jms boot book says it should have so I am just as puzzled as before

The low-fi / bass heavy sound is the only thing that alerted me to the fact that it was a bootleg. Bizarrely the white vinyl demo sounds even worse with far too much treble in the mix. Maybe they copied the vinyl issue bootleg and increased the treble to compensate.

Thats defo the counterfeit, that incomplete circle is how you can tell, there should be an MR stamp in there

Never had a legit vinyl issue or not one I can remember.
