Guest chorleybloke Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 Ey up everybody, Thinning down a bit to make way for more, will leave for 3 or 4 days before eBaying. Sound clips for nearly all these can be found on either Soulclub Jukebox, The Soulgirl or John Manships websites, otherwise just ask me for an MP3 and I'll email to you. Prices all in GBP - PM or email northernsoulman@iinet.net.au if interested. Payment via PayPal please adding GBP3 for shipping from Oz to UK/Europe. Cheers........Pete Little Charles - Guess I'll Have To Take What's Left - Jewel - 40 Although not indicated, this looks like a white demo. Vinyl is mint, label is clean with what looks like some faint printing duplication. Stafford spin due for a revival. Ray Scott & The Scottsmen - Love Piled On Top Of Love - Decca - 100 Full bore RnB dancer, usually on set sale at double this price. Bargain pink demo in pristine condition. Dream Team - I'm Not Satisfied - Gregory - 150 100mph seldom listed dancer co-written by Norman Johnson. If a big name DJ got behind this the price would skyrocket. Will listen to sensible offers for this flawless copy. Mark V Unlimited - Gone! - Sagport - 40 Sublime Detroit mid to uptempo semi-known, backed with a killer beat ballad "Funny Changes" written by Greg Perry. Light scuffs only, plays excellently. Esquires - Dancing A Hole In The World - Rocky Ridge - 30 Very similar to Jimmy Delphs' Carla rarity except a grand cheaper. Mint minus for the vinyl, very slight ring wear on label. Rozetta Johnson - Chained & Bound - Clintone - 30 If you like your Northern Soul in your face, don't hesitate with this Alabama pounder. Written by our mate Sam Dees & presented here in superb condition. Isley Brothers - Why When Love Is Gone - Tamla - 40 Since everybody in UK went mental for this, copies have all but dried up. Still filling floors wherever you go. Slight scuffing to vinyl & a drill hole + small biro on label = VG+. Larry Henley - Stickin' Up For My Baby - Hickory - 40 Traditional blue-eyed Northern out of Nashville, seen this listed for 200 and promoted as 'the next big thing'. Not sure about that but its certainly a dancer. W/demo, a few scuffs. Alice Clark - You Got A Deal - Rainy Day - 25 Can't go wrong with a vocalist of this calibre. This is Alice's 'other one', a little-known dancer, scandalously under-exposed but that could all change. Mint copy. Bob Brady & The Con Chords - More More More Of Your Love - Chariot - 20 Don't need to say much about the song but ever seen this on a white demo? Seen better days this, however music easily overpowers the crackles. Label's a bit grubby. Bargain Northern Soul Pack - All Originals - Book Price 120, Accept 60 Olympics - Baby Do The Philly Dog - Mirwood - VG++ Syl Johnson - Try Me - Twilight - VG plays fine Little Richard - Poor Dog (Who Can't Wag His Own Tail) - Okeh - VG+ lots of wol Nino Tempo & 5th Avenue Sax - Sister James - A&M - VG+ Spellbinders - Help Me (Get Myself Back Together AGain) - Columbia - M- Bob Kuban & The In-Men - The Cheater - Musicland (blue) - M-
