Robbk Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 That Cameo-Parkway label was titled "Goodway", not "Goodways".
Soul Shrews Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Booted in the late 70s of course so be careful Cheers Paul

Unless, of course, you think I suffer from "Multiple Personality Syndrome"! 1
Dave Pinch Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 only one label design..promo only given away with the original and new lp in 1968 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=imxNDIvLBCg 2
Steve Foran Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Don't think there is a legit WD of it. As previously said only given with the LP as a "tempter" . It is blue/green. Think the LP is The NEW Silhouettes. On the single it says "For Promotion". So it was not a WD and I think this is to promote the "New Silhouettes! They were a 50,s group trying to relaunch their career. Hope that helps. Well done Dave Pinch 1
Detroitsound Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 If I can add to previous info.... the track is also on the LP itself... and there was another pressing in circulation on a white lable with something like (newspaper like clippings) article type designs in the background of the label was in circulation 80s to 90s as well as the light green pressing defo seen the other white one a few times in sales remember seeing it for sale at record bar in Manchester ritz as well as other venues as far as I know there is no white demo
Robbk Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 (edited) So, THIS B&W "DJ" pressing is a bootleg, eh? I only saw the promotional 45 given with the LP back in the late '60s and early '70s. Why did I never see the B&W DJ? It MUST be because it was pressed up in the late '70s to meet NS demand. Edited November 28, 2015 by RobbK

Robbk Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Thanks, Dave. It was the logical conclusion. But one never knows until things are verified, as new finds of shelved records from the '60s keep coming in over the years.
Detroitsound Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 has anyone else seen the other pressing with the press clippings design lable ? must have been a very short run pressed up by someone
Detroitsound Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Here is the lp with the track on as some folks are not aware it is actually on the lp best regards to Fingers... been a while mate Alan.. 1
Dave Pinch Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 one of the best £100 me and my bro ever spent 1
