Benji Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 (edited) Sounds from The Shelter vol. 27 - "Foot stompin' music" now online:Mix of Northern and R&B, Crossover and 70s, Midtempo and Beat Ballads. Recent purchases and old favourites.Carl Douglas Set, Afrodisia and Carol Williams are german-only releases. The Bellaphon release is the only way to get this nice Motown cover by the Three Degrees on 45. Babs Mercer is local label and much better mix than on Capitol. Mary Wheeler is the second best version of this stunning beat ballad. I'll save the very best version for the next podcast.Jesse Johnson . Left out . Old Town 45Carl Douglas Set . Benji Posted October 24, 2015 Author Posted October 24, 2015 My initial plan was 24 podcasts, yes. After vol.24 quite a few people told me to continue so I did.
Djmelismo Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 Yes, please do continue. Brilliant selections Benji! Al Gardner, The Three Degrees, Afrodisia, Topics, Barbara Mercer and the Classmen being among my favourites from your latest offering.Best,Mats
