hello,theres superlatives record i cant remember,not i still love u,lonely etc but a more obscure one,mid tempo ish with great horns,anyone got any ideas please ? any help appreciated,thank you

I take it that you know That the Superlatives record and group on Uptite was from New Jersey, while the group on Dynamics  and record was from Detroit.  They were 2 unrelated groups.

As someone said of me and the name dropping I do from time to time here goes again. I was just packing my flight case sat on Popcorn Wylie's family room floor having been his guest for several days when in walked a guy almost without knocking, it took me back  a bit (not something you would do in the US ) I soon realised it was either family or very close friend, anyway this guy and Richard were asking of each others family well beings, I sat and said nothing until Popcorn said "say hello to Gilly, hes from the UK" I said hi to this guy and followed it up with " suppose you were in a group too one time " he came back to me instantly saying " yes I was in the Superlatives " good job I was already sat down, he was Popcorns cousin.   Not related to the original post but connected to the group in question
