Alright gang?

So, I was at a local Northern Soul do on saturday night. It’s a monthly event in a working mans club, which attracts a fairly big loyal crowd. Some of the punters travel for quite a distance to attend. It’s the type of place which was great for me, just as I began to listen and collect.

I didn't intend to me malicious about the place, I just can't get my head around these folk who say they love the soul scene. But do absolutely nothing to take it forward.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this about always finding something new to listen to?

Yeah thanks mate! I try not to get too upset about forty something year old women wearing high heels at soul do's telling me I'm too young for this, or didn't go there.
