Guest johnny hart Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 The Edward Hamilton"Baby dont You weep" has the outtasite logo so assume a legal reissue or aboot of it ? The others look pretty convincing,as now a poor working class pensioner as opposed to the same collector of 50 years previous you have gotta seethe temptation of these vinyl trophies when the originals are totally out of reach of all but the Elite minority!

Pete S Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 These have been out for a while though - think most people know where they originate from
sir cumference Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Wouldn`t buy half of `em if they were originals! What about the biggies-Dolly Parton/Timebox/Manfred Mann!!!! 2
Soul-slider Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Is the Ben E King legit? Just looking at the credit at the bottom of the label.
Cunnie Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 These have been out for a while though - think most people know where they originate fromWhere or can't you say Pete?
kevinsoulman Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Is the Ben E King legit? Just looking at the credit at the bottom of the label.issued to coincide with the after hours cd but has that been booted nowkev

Pete S Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Come on, it's not difficult, go on ebay, find the two or three people who are selling the majority and click on their details
Sjclement Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 That Benny Troy is a bit scary, I suppose its down to the lack of 'grip' outside of the lable to tell wether boot or not? That or its got a B side by a different artist.
Winsford Soul Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 At least the Bobby Sheen has the After hours northern soul master's printed on the label. If in doubt buy a issue which as far as I'm aware didn't get booted.Steve
Weingarden Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 The ones they didn't completely botch the type on are the two Deccas, the DeLite, and the Smash, as far as I can see. Others are way off.
Liamgp Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 (edited) Both Deccas have MFRD (as in manufactured) as 'MFND' and the Johnny Caswell spells 'Double Diamond' as 'Double Siamond'. Edited October 21, 2015 by LiamGP
Chris L Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 I have to say there does seem to be a flood of stuff coming on the market, surely this will have an effect on the sale/purchase prices of originals ?
Mark Howell Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 (edited) Richard Martin instead of Richard Marin on the Manny Corchado.Do they make deliberate errors I wonder?I actually think this has Johnny Caswell on the other side so obvious to pick up if a DJ is trying it on.
